- To meet licensing, insurance, screening and record-keeping obligations — lawful basis: legal obligation.
- To keep the website secure, measure performance and improve our services — lawful basis: legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.
- To send service-related updates where you have asked for them — lawful basis: consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Confidentiality
- Client identity and assignment detail are treated as strictly confidential. We do not publish client names, addresses or identifying case detail, and non-disclosure agreements are signed before operational detail is exchanged.
- Officer access to your information is limited to those assigned to your engagement and is restricted to what is operationally necessary.
Sharing your data
- We share personal data only where necessary: with the officers assigned to your engagement, with our insurers or legal advisers where a claim arises, and with regulators or law enforcement where the law requires it.
- We use trusted service providers for website hosting, email delivery and analytics. These providers process data on our instructions under written agreements. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

- Assignment records are retained for six years to meet contractual, insurance and tax obligations, after which they are securely destroyed.
- Website analytics data is retained in aggregated form only after 14 months.
International transfers
- Where a supplier processes data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses to keep your data protected to UK standards.
Your rights
- You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability where processing is based on consent or contract.
